After graduating from the University of Rochester with Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematics and Studio Arts, she started her event planning career at the RIT Inn & Conference Center in Rochester, NY planning meetings, events, and weddings. After showing strength in the intricacies of wedding planning, weddings became her soul focus. She then went on to the Del Monte Hotel Group planning events across New York State. In 2016 she returned to her roots in the Capital District where she grew up, and joined the Mazzone Hospitality family at the Empire State Plaza planning meetings and conventions. She also took on the role of social & wedding planning at Mazzone’s Cornerstone at the Plaza venue. After spending three years there, Katelyn has now progressed to other Mazzone Hospitality venues including Loft 433 and The Courtyard Marriott Lake George. With her attention to detail and passion for hospitality, she guides her clients through the planning process.
